With deep roots in the community and decades of real estate experience, James “Jim” Hanson brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and professionalism to Homestead. Originally from Plymouth Meeting, PA, Jim first discovered the charm of Cape May in the summer of 1981—and never looked back. Captivated by the area's beauty and potential, he became a full-time resident and began building his real estate career.

Jim purchased his first property in Cape May in 1984, officially launching his journey as a local investor. Just two years later, he earned his real estate sales license and quickly expanded his expertise into property appraisal. By 1992, Jim had become a State Certified General Appraiser, evaluating a wide range of residential, commercial, and industrial properties across South Jersey.
