Dagmer Chew, Broker-Owner, GRI, ABR, SRS
Dagmer Chew has been a passionate and respected leader in the real estate industry since 1994. She began her career as a licensed real estate agent, earned her Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation in 1995, and founded Homestead Real Estate Company, Inc. in 1997. In 1998, Dagmer furthered her expertise by earning her New Jersey Broker’s License. Over the years, she has earned prestigious designations, including Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS). In addition, she is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Instructor and continues to hold that license today.
In May 2023, Homestead Real Estate proudly merged with and acquired the esteemed Cape May Realty Company, further solidifying Dagmer’s vision of delivering exceptional real estate services to the Cape May community and beyond. Throughout her career, Dagmer has contributed to numerous boards within Cape May and Cape May County, actively supporting the growth and success of the area she loves.
A fourth-generation Cape May resident, Dagmer’s deep roots in the community run strong. She and her husband, Rusty Chew, married in 1978, building a life centered on Faith, Family and Community. Their children, Betsy and Mickey, are 5th-generation Cape May natives who both own businesses in town. Dagmer and Rusty are also blessed with three grandchildren—Sunny, Ella, and Perry—making them 6th-generation Cape May natives.
