Robert Chinnis (Bob) is a 4th generation Cape May Native, born on Jackson Street in 1957 in the family home.  Bob has recently found his way back to his roots after many years away. Bob was the son of a United States Coast Guard Master Chief.  Bob studied at the University of South Carolina and made his way into the United States Air Force and served honorably from 1984-1992.  These early experiences with the Service to his country allowed for Bob to understand the commitment to hard work and dedication needed to be successful.   This same dedication and experience he brings to his customers and clients in the Real Estate field.

A short career with Lockheed Missiles and Space led him to many certifications and areas of expertise.  Navy Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory School, Fiber optic Certification and much more.  However, what Bob loved to do and learned from his father who was a custom furniture upholsterer after his years with the Coast Guard was the love to work with his hands in a trade.  Bob has been a highly recognized and successful Licensed Building and Roofing Contractor in the State of Florida since May of 2000 where his company is still active in the building business today.

Bob has two grown children, Justin and Krysten and two grandchildren, Jenette and Fiona who are the delight of his heart.

Bob has been an active, award winning member of the Rotary Club, Key West since 2005. Awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship three times and Rotary Unsung Hero Award in 2012. What Bob brings to the Real Estate Industry is a keen eye for construction, and a great ability to place a client at ease.  Bob is a southern gentleman, loves the Cape May Beaches after serving as a Cape May Life Guard in his youth, enjoys riding his bike about town, a nice cold beer and a night with good friends and family.  Some of his favorite restaurants include the Oyster Bay, Lobster House and the Mad Batter.
